How to reach Warsaw?
There are two airports located near Warsaw:
Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)
Warsaw’s main airport, close to the city center.
There are three possible ways to access city centre from this airport:
- By bus 175, a 25 min ride in the off-peak hours, ~40-45 min ride in peak hours, cost: up to 4,40 PLN
- By metropolitan train (SKM) S2, a 25 min ride, cost: up to 4,40 PLN
- By taxi, a 15 min ride off-peak (cost: 15-20 PLN), ~25 min ride in peak hours (cost: 20-30 PLN). The easiest and safest way is to head to the Taxi stop, which is just outside arrivals hall. The signs inside the arrivals hall should will direct you there. Alternative reliable taxi providers in Warsaw are Uber, Bolt, and FreeNow, all accessible via respective mobile apps.
Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI)
Budget airlines airport, which requires a 1-hour bus+train ride to the city center. Cost: 20 PLN
The city’s main railway station is Warsaw Central Railway Station.
It is also possible to disembark at Warszawa Zachodnia, but public transport connection from that station to the conference venue and other parts of the city is poor, so we’re not recommending it.

Transport in Warsaw
We have well-developed public transport. Trams, buses, and city trains use the same tickets, as described on the provider’s website. We recommend using Google Maps or JakDojade apps to find routes (JakDojade also allows you to purchase tickets), or the web version of JakDojade.
